Something new is just around the corner at The Wristband Co.

With the close of the financial year 21-22, June was a busy month at The Wristband Co. Before I share some exciting news, I’d like to thank all of our customers for their support over the last year – we truly appreciate it.

From COVID to flooding to some better news with Ash Barty winning the women’s singles title (the first Australian to do so since 1978!), so much has happened throughout Australia in 2022 so far, and we’re only 6 months in!

Behind the scenes, our team has been hard at work on an upgraded website; from new items to a more streamlined reordering process, the new website will ensure your experience with us is second to none. But that’s not our only news; we’ve still been busy working hard with our donation program and celebrating the end of another financial year. Read on to hear more.

Community News and Wristband Donations

FNQ Emergency Services Association and Rosie’s – Friends on the Street.

This month we are proud to be donating 1000 gold custom-printed wristbands to FNQ Emergency Services Association. Their annual Emergency Services Gala Ball is this August, and this year they are raising money for Rosie’s – Friends on the Street. The charity provides meals to the homeless and helps anywhere between 50 – 100 patrons per night, with an increase in women, young people and families.

But Rosies is not just about food, but about helping people to connect and begin conversions to find the supporting services needed. All the money raised at this gala event will go towards purchasing a much-needed new van and other essential equipment.

City2Surf

We’ve also donated 2,000 purple custom printed wristbands to City2Surf, which is a 14km run from Sydney CBD to Bondi Beach. Whether you run, walk or jog the 14kms, the event is about hitting the streets with your friends and family to raise money for some fantastic charities. This year, City2Surf is aiming to raise a record-breaking $4,000,000, and as I write this today, they have already raised an incredible $797,508.17!

This year, you can join the Sydney’s Children’s Hospitals Foundation (SCHF) at City2Surf and raise money for Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network, which includes Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick; The Children’s Hospital at Westmead; Bear Cottage; Kids Research and Newborn and paediatric Transport Service (NETS). Photo Finish Wristbands – Australian Made

These wristbands are exactly what they sound like: professional photo finish quality. The wristbands have optimised colour, contrast, and clarity and are digitally printed for the highest quality finish. What distinguishes these from Tyvek wristbands? These wristbands, unlike Tyvek, contain a heavy GSM laminate, which means the print quality is crisper and clearer. When completed, this laminate coating appears as a gloss, giving the wristbands a shiny covering and appearance. This laminate also adds rigidity to the wristbands, allowing them to be worn for up to five days.
With these wristbands, you can cover the entire wristband in your design and have custom wristband colours.
